Cannot compile this...

Hello,

I cannot compile the simple project attached, I always get "Error: Previous compilation did not terminate properly. Caches may be corrupted, starting
rebuild..." (from memory), already tried to delete the caches, same error.
Using Selena b#6981, JDK 6u1.

hints?

kind regards,

Messi

Hmm, works without problems for me. Are you using JDK6 just for compilation or for running IDEA? (Not that either answer would give me an additional clue).

Good luck anyway,

Works here without problems (compiling against and IDEA working with JDK
1.6.0_01).

Hmm, strange...

I'm using JDK6u1 for both (app & IDEA), thanks for trying this, I'll try
to compile it with "cleared" settings.

I just got the same problem here. Just configured a new project here but I am not able to compile it. The old once still work without problem due.

Get the same message ""Error: Previous compilation did not terminate properly. Caches may be corrupted, starting
rebuild..."

And also an exception:

And then nothing more except that everything connected with compile is disabled (Rebuild project, Make project, Compile).

It is happening to me with my now project too. I just reverted to 6963 and it was able to recompile the project.

It looks to me that 6981 is not recovering from this situation..

I am running in MBP 2 GB RAM.

Well, I installed b#6981 at home and my own project compiles and runs
fine there, I couldn't yet find time to create a "clean settings"
install at work yet, thus I cannot say if it works then... did you try?
Do other projects compile?

Thanks for you answer. When we can expect a new eap build to test it?

Thanks for you great work.
