Apply patch from clipboard / URL?

Hi,

Now that I've learned where the "apply patch" functionality lives, I've started using it a bit. I find that more often than not, patch files are pretty transient in my workflow. Have you considered allowing patches to be sourced from a clipboard or a URL instead of from a file?
