ByteCode view for debugging?

ByteCode view: awesome. But. I can't get it to display bytecode for the code I'm looking at in a library I don't have source code for. I just happen to have a P1 bug that this would really help.

How do I display ByteCode for the current method on the stack?

Hi James,

works here from Project View/Editor. Where do you invoke an action (is it available) and how exactly the library is attached?
Thanks

Its a library included at runtime (not compiled against), so for example if I do goto-class, it doesn't show up at all. This happens even if explicitly add the library. So I can't open it in the editor at all. The problem class may even be generated at runtime since I've included every library I can find and I still can't find the class. What I do know is that it shows up in the stack trace.

IDEA actually shows byte code of  existing class files only. You may want to file a request to YouTrack to be able to view classes in debug toolwindow.
Thanks
