Sourcesafe (ss.exe) spikes
Hi there,
I'm on 6.0.4 using source safe as a repository. After a few operations with the source safe plugin (mostly updates/get latest), I start to see a lot of spikes in CPU usage (every few seconds or so) caused by ss.exe. I see the entry in the task manager for a bit, and then the ss.exe process goes away, only to show up again after a bit.
What's more annoying is that during those spikes IDEA becomes unresponsive for a couple of seconds or so. The only solution I have so far is a restart.
Is this a known problem (with a fix to come soon, hopefully)? Is there a workaround for this stuff at this point?
Thx,
Andrei

Hi Andrei...
Can it be that you have a Version Control History tab hidden in the bottom
bar? This one produces similar sppikes when not closed entirely on my
system.

This is a legacy from the earlier IDEA versions. We'll fix it asap.
