Found why the EAP 6.0.2 version is slow

the -agentlib:yjpagent is in the idea.exe.vmoptions.

I have replaced the jre included ithe idea version,.. and it did't start because of this line.

It means that the yourkit profiler was running with this version.

Removing the line in the idea.exe.vmoptions file and using jre 1.5.06 may solved my problem.

By the way the library is available in current 6.0.2 distribution.

At least this was true for build 6094 that existed between 9nov and 15 nov.

Isn't YourKit always enabled for the EAP releases? It's the tool which is used to report performance and memory issues as part of the beta programme.

Indeed, the YourKit profiler agent is enabled in the EAP builds, but it doesn't
actually make IDEA run slower. The profiler adds some overhead only when
you're actually taking CPU or memory snapshots, not using the product.

The agent DLL is bundled with the 6.0.2 final release so that the users can
enable profiling when necessary (when they encounter performance problems
and we need to investigate them), but it's not enabled by default.
