Saw an interesting project on Kickstarter
LightTable is a new IDE for javacript, clojure, and python. It has already raised ~200k to create this new IDE as an open source project. I was curious how a new IDE could bring something new to the table compared to IntelliJ or Eclipse. I like some of the concept of a drafting table and concepts like playing around with code fragments without worrying about files; It struck me more of a fun prototyping or learning tool, but I did not see features where I said "Wow, I'd like that feature in IntelliJ".
Anyway, it's an interesting to go through, so I thought I'd post for others to see.
