How to start a JavaServer Faces (JSF) using Primefaces

Does anyone know how to create a JSF/Primefaces project in IntelliJ IDEA? or can any one provide a sample dummy project? or recommend a good reference to get started?

Thank you.

So far I did the following:

1. Add framework support (Web 3.0 and Mojarra 2.0.1)
2. Download Primefaces Jar
3. Add the Jar manually (File -> Project Structure -> Libraries)

Lucky me, Primefaces 2.2 doesn't require configurations.

Hey Intellij Guys, could you add some support to some other JSF libraries (Richfaces, Icefaces, Primefaces)?

Hi Rafael,

Thank you very much for your reply.

Hopefully, I'll manage to get started with JSF 2.0 and Primefaces in IntelliJ IDEA with your instructions.

I wish there was something like this http://wiki.netbeans.org/DevelopAjaxJSF2App for IntelliJ IDEA, and, yes, you are right, there should be specific instructions from JetBrains to get started with JSF projects making use of Richfaces, Icefaces and Primefaces.

Just in case, this article may prove useful to you http://wiki.jetbrains.net/intellij/Developing_applications_for_GlassFish_Server_in_IntelliJ_IDEA.

Regards,
Daniel

I know its not related to Primefaces, but for others like me who found this page searching for how to develop JSF in IDEA, I'll link to this page:
Developing JSF applications - IntelliJ-Wiki. I hope this is OK to post.
