Is there anything like a public roadmap for next version's feature set?

I am wondering if there is anything like a roadmap that shows what are the planned features or feature set for the next version of Intellij or not. Let's say the next version is 11.1+ but what would be the features in that version?

Thanks.

Roadmaps are generally posted on an EAP (Early Access Program) page. The parent EAP page is located at http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display/IDEADEV/EAP Any "significant" updates (major versions and some minor versions) will get a dedicated EAP page that is linked to off that parent page. Maintenance releases do not get dedicated pages.

To the best of my knowledge, based on posting I've seen from various JetBrains team members, the next significant release will be 12.0. See http://devnet.jetbrains.net/thread/435493?tstart=0 for example. (There might be an 11.1.2 bug fix release in the works based on a comment I seem to recall seeing.) But the 12.0 release does not have an EAP page yet. Historically, they have created the EAP pages in late summer to early fall. So we have some time yet before we'll know much.  If you create an wiki account, you can subscribe to get updates to the  EAP page. (After logging in, select the "tools" gear icon in the upper  left and select "watch page".)  Then when they create the link to the new IDEA 12 EAP  page you'll get an e-mail. (You'll then want to subscribe to the IDEA 12 EAP  page to get updates if desired.). You can also watch the IDEA blog (http://blogs.jetbrains.com/idea/) as they will sometimes mention an upcoming feature there.

I hope that helps.

The next version is indeed IntelliJ IDEA 12. There is currently no public roadmap for it.

Thanks for the updates. I tried to check which issues are associated with 12 but the issue tracker does not provide the functionality probably because I dont have the require role and thus I asked the question here.
It would be nice to see what is the theme for the next version, for example the focus in core Java IDE functionalities, adding more framework support, improving Java EE support, etc.

As usual, there is no single theme; IntelliJ IDEA is a big product, and every version brings improvements to mostly every part of the product.
