IDEA 10.0.3 - Unable to connect to TFS Server

This was working in 10.0.2 about two months ago, when I tested it.  Today I finally got a real license, and downloaded 10.0.3.  Now when I put in our TFS server information, I get the message "Host contacted, but no TFS service found."

Do you have any ideas?

Hello Angella,

Do you specify correct port (usually 8080)?

OK, I see. Can you please provide the log file?

1. Shut IDEA down
2. Open %IDEA_installation%/bin/log.xml with text editor
3. Scroll to the bottom, add the following part before <root> tag:

<logger name="httpclient.wire">
    <level value="debug"/>
</logger>

4. Start IDEA, try to connect
5. Attach idea.log file.

Thanks!
Kirill

I have the log file.  Do you have an email address I can send it to?  I'm not comfortable attaching my log file to the discussion thread.

Thanks!

This was my problem.  For some reason, my HTTP Proxy was on in IDEA, which was blocking access to my TFS server.

If anyone else runs into this problem, please check this setting.

I'm having a similar problem trying to connect to our TFS server on my new Mac.  How do I turn on the logging on the mac?  I couldn't find the log.xml file anywhere.

Thanks!

You need to invoke context menu for IntelliJ IDEA appication and choose 'Show package contents'. The file you need is in 'bin' folder.

I'm having the same issue. Would someone be able to assist me here?
