SSL for IDEATalk

Should SSL be working for the jabber integration? if not, is it on the list somewhere? a search of SSL didn't yield much info...

BTW, I have a question here. Compliant XMPP 1.0 servers (like google
talk or wildfire) do not require using a dedicated SSL port. Instead,
they use TLS over generic connection, and TLS way is already supported
by IDEtalk.

Do you really need legacy SSL connections support?

With kind regards,
KIR

Old jabberd installations do not support TLS and yet they are still
quite common... I believe that some users would need SSL.

We use an old jabber server... I don't think we have the option of updating it to something better any time soon... so yes.
