Android Module problem with JDK7

I am new to IntelliJ IDEA and Android development in general. I'm trying to create a new Android Module with IDEA 10.5.1 and get to the point to select the JSDK. It recognizes that java version 1.7.0 is installed and selects it by default but when I click next, it comes up with "You need to create at least one JSDK of versions 1.5 or 1.6" and will not let me continue any further. Does anyone have a way around this or am I stuck with notepad?

I have the same problem as Brian.  I got further when I installed version 1.6.  Also, is there a tutorial on how to select the latest android SDK. I tried http://wiki.jetbrains.net/intellij/Developing_applications_for_Android_in_IntelliJ_IDEA but when I attempt to add the SDK folder by clicking on the ellipsis, I see information about the jsdks. If I press add and select the android sdk folder (C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk), the sdk remains deselected.

I have the same problem. Tried with Oracle JDK7 and OpenJDK7 with no luck.

Back to eclipse.

Android+JDK 1.7 will be supported in IDEA 11.1. Please download IDEA 11.1 EAP or use 11.0.2 with JDK 1.6
