Backport fix for IDEADEV-4485 to 5.1.1?

We could benefit from having this backported to 5.1.1, too. The last comment
Eugene left
on the issue mentioned it could possibly be done if no major problem showed
up in
Demetra.

We have some exciting changes to the Perforce plugin, but we can't submit
them or even distribute them internally due to stability problems caused
by http://jetbrains.net/jira/browse/IDEADEV-4485. The bug was fixed for
Demetra, but I wonder if someone could look at fixing it for 5.1.1 so we
can submit a patch to you guys, and distribute our patched plugin
internally.
