IBM SDK locks up IDEA
Hi,
I heard that IBM's JDK implementation shall have true hot code
replacement so I wanted to try that out.
I downloaded the free IBM Development Package for Eclipse (Windows
Version) because that also contains the IBM SDK and extracted
"ibm_sdk50" to "C:\".
In Demetra 5175, I openend Settings, JDKs & Global Libraries, pressed
the "add jsdk" button and selected "C:\ibm_sdk50".
All I get is an endless series of messages boxes called "Cannot detect
JDK version" with the message "Probably JDK installed in 'C:/ibm_sdk50'
is corrupt.
Even if that would be the case, there should be a way out.
I had to kill IDEA using the task manager.
