[5162] Assertion failed: Profile with name 'Default' wasn't loaded.

I get this each time I start up. I've tried creating such a profile, but it doesn't help. Any ideas?

I had seen that (apologies for not linking to it), but I still don't know what do do about it, and can't use 5162 because of it. It's not just when I start, but it appears to be when I open any new file.

Can't you just ignore it??

That is what I do, ignore it. I see that evil blinking red light down in the right corner but if I don't click it to view the error, IntelliJ just don't bother me with a "popup" error about it anymore. :)

Hello Danny van der Rijn,

I can suggest only to try to clean your config directory.

I am sorry for inconvenience :(

So, what you're saying is that I'm not gonna get rid of this error even if I install the next release of Demetra? That I have to clean my config-dir?
Well, that sux because I have lots of changed stuff regarding file- and live templates, plugins, keymaps and other stuff. Well, I guess that's what you gett for running EAP applications... :)

Hello weasel,

No, you can wait until next EAP or use previous one ...

Then I'll just wait. :)
Thanks for the info!

It went away when I cleared my inspection settings in profile "Default";
however, with other inspection-profiles it still happens, even lost some
of my inspection settings b/c of this error - it seems that it happens
when a/some specific inspection(s) is/are enabled (???).

Messi

Taking that back, copying "Default" and enabling it also causes this error.
For me, after this error appears ALL profiles but "Default" seem to get
deleted...

same here. Changes to default are lost, too.

Anybody knows whether this has been fixed in B#5175?
