Subversion support - any progress?

Subversion support in Idea 5.0 was the major factor in our decision to
switch from CVS to SVN, but the feature still feels a little bit creaky.
I did a search for unresolved defects with subversion OR svn in them
and got 127 matches, including 3 Critical and 9 Major. Is any work
happening on the Subversion support for 5.1? (Specifically, any chance
of getting IDEA-5846 in?)

Thanks,
R

I take it that's a "no" :(

Hello Robert,

We've contracted Alexander Kitaev (Alexander.Kitaev@tmate.org) for development
and maintenance of Subversion plugin. He was quite busy with his own stuff
till now but promised to work closely on plugin issues so the fixes hopefully
will be included in upcoming 5.1

I've just been notified through Subversion's mailing list that Subversion 1.3.0 has just been released, and that JavaSVN (used by IDEA) has some compatibility issues due to Subversion implementation changes to cut down the size of working copy... see:
http://subversion.tigris.org/svn_1.3_releasenotes.html

Can't tell if this has been fixed. I was hoping to move to Subversion from CVS for in-house stuff, but this thread is giving me second thoughts...

Hi Maxim,
Thanks for the update. Since you mention Tmate, do you mean that the SVN
plugin is no longer considered core functionality but rather part of the
partnership programme?

Hello Robert,

Nope, we've just decided the plugin will be more mature if written by svn
java library author so we contracted him.
