Intentions, "anti-patterns" and team work...

Hi,

what do you think about offering different sets of "errors", "warnings"
and "anti-patterns" with different color codes?
I have the problem that I like the warnings within Idea very much - but
some of my collegues don't (and disable the most).
As consequence, the team wide sharing of intentions and warnings would
mulct me of those nice features.

What I could need, is a way to enable the team wide defined warnings and
additionally "my personal" intentions. And, if possible, with different
colors, so that I can differentiate between those two kinds (and
recognise whether all "team problems" are resolved).

Any ideas, annotations ...?

First of all, you'll definitely be able to override the "team profile" settings
- you'll be able to say that "my error profile is our team's profile with
this and that inspection enabled in addition", and it'll stay synchronized
with changes in the team profile.

Making it possible to extend the current "highlight as error / as warning"
color choice sounds like a good idea for this scenario - we'll discuss this
and see what we can do about this.
