Mac OS X: strange keyboard mapping

Hi,

It looks like my Mac mini is handling Apple+Left the same as the key,
which is named Home on a Windows/Linux keyboard. Is this normal or
something that can be configured? I'd like to map Home to 'Move caret to
line start' and Apple+Left to 'Select previous tab' - just like on my
Windows/Linux keyboard.

Thanks,
Tom

Hello Thomas,

Yep, that's natural MacOS mapping. Next/Prev word is mapped to Alt+Left/Right
by default though you're of course able to change that in IDEA keymap.

Unfortunately I can't use Home and Apple+Left for different actions,
because both map to the same shortcut. :(

Looks like this is caused by the option "PC style home and end keys",
which is selected in DoubleCommand.
