Just go to the Keymap settings and assign whatever Shortcut you like to the corresponding action.

While you _can_ change the keyboard shortcuts in IDEA, you're going to be better off long-term in using the default OS/X mapping of cmd-space for spotlight and not using ctrl-space for any system functions. You're going to find that other development tools assume ctrl-space is wide-open for app usage.

If you're looking for key combinations that won't interact with application software, I tend to assign custom functions to ctrl-option-command-<whatever>. I've yet to find any applications that use that key chord for anything.

If it is like Ctrl+Alt+Shift on non-Mac, then you're talking about one.
Ctrl+Alt+Shift+N is a very handy IntelliJ shortcut.

I changed the ones used by the OS i.e. ctrl + alt + space for Alfred. Just removed the shortcut for spotlight
Also set function keys to work as functions keys. All in the keyboard pref. pane in system settings.
