Possible solution to Weblogic plugin problems

I know that the following JDK bug prevents the Weblogic plugin from working
correctly:

http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6211220

While researching ways around this, I found:

http://weblogs.java.net/blog/emcmanus/archive/2005/07/dealing_with_mu.html

It describes a seemingly simple way to build a JMX 1.0 compatabile client
using a very simple custom classloader -- any chance that something like
this could be done in IDEA to make it work again? (or by the plugin's maintainers
-- not sure who maintains it)
