Tagging in commit dialog does not work correctly

Hi,

I posted this already under CVS (EAP), but nobody seems to look at it there ...

When I work on a cvs branch and use the option to set a tag after commiting a file, the new tag does not become associated with the branch, but with the main trunk.

Note that I used the parameter "Override existings" in this case.

I think this is a serious bug in the cvs integration, because the user is not aware that something very wrong happens.

If this is not a general problem with cvs, I hope that the problem will get fixed before release of version 5.0.

Meanwhile we need to do this kind of operation in SmartCVS, where the same case works ok.

Kind regards
