Intellij 9.01 - does not permanently delete CVS roots

Hi,
I am deleting CVS Roots that I have used in past and after IDEA restarts-these entries show up again, Could you please suggest how to permanently delete them.

I am using Intellij 9.0.1 and all CVS roots show up when viewed using this sequence
Version Control > CVS > Configure CVS Roots
Click on [-] button on roots to be deleted and they are removed from the list,
After I restart IDEA - these entries re-appear.

Thanks,

You could try IDEA 9.0.3.

Intellij 10.5.1 behaves likewise. At least in Vista.

probably you have to clear entries in .IntelliJIdea10\system\vcs. but i didn't test it, so make backup first.

I tried a lot of brutal things. Nukeing .intelliJIdea10 was one of them. Another was to remove .cvspass and to remove and check out the project again from CVS. I even cleansed the registry from every reference to the old dead server. All this to no avail.

I suppose that somevhere there must have been a small window for the bogus setting to sneak through, but I am not guru enough to see that.
