Menus Screwed on Dual-Screen Setup (OS X 10.4/JRE1.5)

I have a dual screen setup (laptop 1024x768, ext. screen 1280x1024). The macbar and dock is on the laptop screen. If run Idea on the external screen the menus start with an horizontal offset (about 400px guessed) instead of expanding directly unter the menubar (Idea 4.5 theme). If i click on the menubar entry (i.e. File) a second time right after, the display is ok.

This happens only on JRE 1.5 and on the "plain" screen (where the macbar/dock is not).

Just wanted to report this...
