Subversion integration status Follow
Hi,
One of the major features of IDEA 5 (as far as I'm concerned, anyway) is Subversion integration. However, I've not really tried this yet, as I've seen a few messages on the forums about "don't do X yet, it's not quite ready", although these seem to have quietened down lately.
Is it safe enough and more or less feature complete now?
Thanks,
Chris

Yup, you should try it, it's fairly stable, little quirks here and there
being worked on, but usable full time.

Is move-package/rename safe now? I remember you saying the other day
that was still causing problems?
In article <db08rg$t9e$1@is.intellij.net>,

Yeah it's fine, I use it all the time now. It even has smart undo,
where you can move or rename then just hit command + z to undo the
change and the repository goes back to normal.
I've also tested all the changes so I can make changes in idea, and if
need be do more on the command line, the repository behaves nicely now.

Excellent ;)
I just want to confirm this, because I tried moving things around via IDEA refactoring as late as build 3394 and ended up totally ruining my local svn checkout. So, this has been improved/fixed since 3394?

Yes IIRC this was still an issue in 3394. there is one issue now which
has been fixed for tomorrow(?)'s build. If you do a project status, it
does a project update, but shows you the window, it doesn't just do it
of course.
