Missing 'Commit files' from Version Control
The new build is all fine and dandy, but I really
miss the ability to commit all files from the
Version Control menu...Hope that menu option will
return in the next build...

Build #3370, there's a "Check-In" command but it's disabled everywhere.
Ciao,

So what's up with this one? Is this a bug or is there some functionality change coming down the pipe....
Still missing in 3378. Can't test eap's if i can't write code, and not much point in writing code if I can't check it in.
What up? Is there a functionality change I'm missing?
Should already work for sure...

I can confirm that it works fine here (3378 on WinXP).

I messed around with this again, and it still does not appear. There is a always a greyed out "Check In Project" option, but it never becomes available.
I can right-click an individual file or directory and do CVS-Commit Directory and that works fine now.
It's the same story on several different projects.

Also - ctlk-k works for commit project...
I just tried again, toasted all the project files, and recreated them. The Check In Project option is still greyed out, and Ctrl-K doesn't work either.
Commit Project works just fine if I revert back to 3354.
Tried again, this time deleted my entire project folder, and checked everything out from CVS. Then modified a file, and Check In Project is still unavailable.

Can I ask a stupid question... you DO have CVS enabled in your project
options as the version control system used right?
Mark
yep... But I've been known to do such dumb things, so okay to ask :)
I'm seeing this as well. I'm currently checking in files individually from the project status window.
I'm seeing this in one of my projects too. Good thing we have SmartCVS.
Thank god it's not just me.......
This is still broke in 3386.
Still broke in 3394. Anyone else?
To test this I just did the following:
Delete $home/.IntelliJIdea
Delete project directory (including src and project files)
Create new project
Checkout from CVS of project
Modify file
Version Control -> Check In Project is still greyed out.
Can right click and Commit the modified file though.
Any other ideas? I feel like I'm the only one having this problem. The associated bug (http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/IDEA-2680) shows it as being fixed in 3371.

That's the same thing.
"Check in Project" is unavailable. Still broke in 3396 ?
Isn't "Check in Project" and "Commit Project" the same thing?

Appears to be working now in 3403. And back to "Commit Project" name.
Yay!
