idea 10.5 licensing - free or not for v.10 licenses holders?

Hi, Jetbrains.
We need some additional licenses. If we will purchase it now, will they be valid with 10.5? Could you clarify also, is a newer version license works with older version generally?

IntelliJ IDEA 10.5 is a free upgrade for all users of IntelliJ IDEA 10, regardless
of when the license was purchased.

A license for a particular version of IntelliJ IDEA is also valid for older
versions.

IDEA 10.5 will be a free upgrade to all v10 users.
