integrated search helper, à-la Spotlight.
MacOS Tiger has many nice ways of making your life easier.
Spotlight integration is one of them, and IDEA should take example (see
image below).
This kind of search integration would be welcome in the
- plugins settings
- IDE Settings
- inspections settings.

Inspection settings already has a filter, which is very similar and very
usable now the Errors dialog has been made really fast. It would be nice
to have something similar for plugins and settings indeed.
Where it would be even more usable in my opinion is in the project pane.
It would be very helpful to quickly show only files with a particular
extension or which have a particular word in their filename. Sort of
like the "Goto File" dialog, but with more permanent results.
