3290 memory usage waaay up (memory leak?)

I am seeing 3290 using much more memory much more quickly than 3281 --
eg a project that rarely got above 300M on 3281 is up over 500M in in 10
minutes.
Anybody else?

Oddly enough, I'm seeing decreased memory usage compared to previous EAP builds.

The project is all plain old java objects - no EJB or JSPs

Hmmmm, the project I have is mostly plain java but there are a
smattering of XML and a smattering of JSP/HTML. I suppose it seems
likely that JSP could be the culprit just based on (my guess at) the
related code-velocity. The JSP are just in the project but never opened
(I have smaller JSP/webapp only projects that I use for this stuff)

Wild guess. Please check out if you have Settings|Errors|Local code analysis|Duplicate
String Literal inspection enabled in your profile. Try disabling it then.

After disabling just Duplicate String Literal inspection, code analysis seems to be far quicker and consumes far far less memory. Not sure if it eliminates the leak.

There is still some process consuming memory even after code analysis completes. If I give focus to idea, and just watch it, without interacting with it at all, memory creeps up 1 meg every 5 seconds or so. But invoking garbage collection has always brought memory back down to the same baseline so far, so I haven't detected a memory leak yet.

I did this also and saw an improvement, but it's still heavy.

I'm noticing that when I open my IDE Preferences window, memory usage goes up 20 MB each time and is never released... ?
