Project panel "Scroll from Source" selects unexpected file?

Hi,

I typically have two vertical editor panes that each contain multiple editor tabs. I seem to remember that in past IDEA versions and the IDEA X EAP that I could select a tab in either editor pane, open the Project panel, click "Scroll from Source" and the panel would then show the selected file/class/etc. Now it always shows the file that is current in the left editor tab--even if I've actually clicked in a tab in the right editor panel.

Have I forgotten something or is this a change of behavior?

One other possibly related item. When I'm debugging Java and hit a breakpoint the code location is always displayed in a tab in the right-hand editor pane. This happens even if the class is already open in a tab in the left editor pane. A new tab is opened in the right pane for the class.

Another example. I have an HTML file open in one editor pane and a referenced CSS file open in the other editor pane. I <option>+<click> on a style name in the HTML file. Rather than moving the focus to the open CSS file IDEA creates a new tab in the same pane and displays a second copy of the CSS file there.

I would like to bump this thread up -- this is a bug.
