Sort declared implementations and thrown exceptions

Dear Community,

I had a great talk with Dave Kriewall about a new feature. Here it is:

  1. to sort implemented interfaces alphabetically in class declarations,
  2. to sort thrown exceptions alphabetically in abstract method declarations,
  3. to sort thrown exceptions in implementation methods in the order they're thrown.

Alphabetically sort could be based either on class name or on fully qualified name.

This feature could be done on code reformat or within a dedicated inspection.

What do you think about such a feature? Could it be part of IDEA?

Thank you,
