Scroll from Source button not working while indexing

While indexing, the "Scroll from Source" button is greyed out in IntelliJ 9.

Why is this? The "Autoscroll from Source" option still works while indexing, and "Scroll from Source" basically does exactly the same except it isn't a toggling state but an immediate action.

Why would one work while indexing but not the other?
