3200 nice

Going well so far all day (well since release), it seems that it likes
XML files a little better too in this one, both with memory and general
behavior.

Only glitch (yes reported) is the fact that you simply can't edit code
style anymore without throwing an exception.

I like those bi-weekly releases :)

I downloaded 3200 and have been writing code for about 6 hours without exceptions, except the one you mentioned.

XML hasn't been better for me, I'm still getting lots of XML exceptions.
I'd say I have to close IDEA and clear caches every 15 minutes or more.

It looks like one of my bugs has been fixed without being listed as offically fixed for the build.

OTOH, the debugger setup still has issues

I stil get exceptions on #3200 when switching projects. And similar
exceptions bother other people, see:

Did you do anything special, like recreating projects or settings?

I am now in the habit of running with a plain install, with NO
modifications to my settings, including color and global styles. So I
am testing with as vanilla as possible an installation.

I did not recreate the project for 3200 this time though.

Nope, same project . The Idea build / debug sessions go into a different directory.

Build #3144 was the last EAP build that I encountered neither the project switching or the breakpoint dialog exceptions.

About 8 more hours of writing code with 3200. I did hit 3-4 exceptions while editing code, but nothing that bad.
The worst problem I encountered while editing code was when I cut a line containing "} else if {" and repasted it multiple times, it flagged legal code as errors and reformatted the lines wrong (see attached).

I haven't been using much of the new features except Inspect Code/ Error Highlightings.
Just alot of editing Java and JSP files, navigation, find usages, refactoring (mainly rename, introduce variable).
I use ANT to compile, so haven't tested compilation.
Haven't tried the debugger.
Probably two biggest bugs are the Code Style Option pane exception and IntelliJ forgot how to resolve "/jsp/..." paths in my web module. (Haven't tried to fix that yet.)

That's one way to fix the code style bug - just don't allow the user to edit the code style at all :)
