#3177: Alt F1 - (Select in Project) broken?

Pressing Alt F1 takes me to the Project Structure window, but it no longer
takes me to the file. It'll highlight whatever file I had previously chosen
or selected in the Project Structure window.

Can other people confirm?

This functionality used to be great in that it'll take you to the dir a file
was in instead of making you navigate your way there.

UPDATE: It'll take you to JSPs but not to .java files.

And I've confirmed the src path is in my Paths settings. (I did this just
in case, but nothing should have changed since I've been using this same
project for a while now and it worked last week).

Hello Michael,

It works fine here (on WinXP). Try enabling the "autoscroll from source"
option in the project pane, see if you have better luck with that one.

That did it. Thanks!

I guess 3177 didn't "import" this setting from #3136.

To be honest, I don't ever remember turning that setting on. It must have
been set that way as a default during installs (or I turned it on years
ago). I've always relied on that behavior, so when it went away, I didn't
know it was a setting that can be toggled.

Thanks again....

Actually, it used to work even with "Autoscroll from Source" disabled. This option will automatically select the currently edited file on the project tree, so you don't need to use ALT+F1 to select it.

In other words: yes, ALT+F1 is broken, at least for me, and the "autoscroll from source" is a workaround.

Should be fixed in 3186
