]]> seems like one of you guys has developed a deep
love for the xml-editor ;)

actually i would realy like to see that it doesnt tell me
all the time that i have duplicate value for my @id
attributes. which is by the way not true. i have the same
id-value multiple times but they are not duplicates (which
by the way is mine to decide and not ideas task)
in anyway i would be very happy if somebody could tell
me how to switch of those nasty red error markers in the xml editor.
could not find any thing on the settings.

thanks

Hi,

You can attach the dtd to your files.

And what does one do if one doesn't have a DTD?

0

a) one could let idea generate one
b) you still might not want one
c) it doesnt solve the problem (@id values are
still marked as duplicate). they are NOT!

Hi,

Actually you could generate the DYD from existing document (Tools ->
Generate DTD From XML file) and change the id attribute type from ID to
CDATA (Idea does it behind the scenes for the validation).

Whoa, JACK!

I hadn't even noticed that feature.

Thank you very much.

>Idea does it behind the scenes for the validation
the problem is that it doesnt do it "behind" the scenes
but very obviously at the front stage.

is there any switch where i can shut that "feature" down?

thanks
