ClearType

There is no way to do this. Vote for http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=4502804 if you want it.

Hi.

I am now working on an LCD monitor and though I can turn on anti
aliasing in editors I would appreciate being able to turn on ClearType
which looks much better on LCDs. If that's already possible, where is
that setting / how do I do that?

Antialiasing that Swing currently has is not real ClearType (subpixel
antialiasing)
