1. I have a Jbosss running in its own JVM (Java 6) which enables a remote debug (). After I start a JBoss from dos prompt, I get this message - Listening for transport dt_socket at address: 8787.
2. I am running IntelliJ IDEA 9.0.3 under Java 6. I can connect to port 8787 to debug server side code.
3. I configure a GWT Configuration as follows:
Html to open: http://localhost:8080/flex/RecordDetail?betaUserType=1&coreId=null&coreTypeId=3420448135&FlexID=cf01b199x1&gwt.codesvr=127.0.0.1:9997
GWT Module to load: com.xxx.RecordDetail
VM parameters: -Xmx2024m -Xms1524m
Dev Mode parameters: -noserver -port 8080 -logLevel ALL
A) When I run this "GWT Configuration", I can see another two buttons like "Launch Default Browser" and "Copy to Clipboard". After I click "Launch Default Browser", I can also see the following output from Tab - Development Mode:
Started code server on port 9997
Connection received from 127.0.0.1:50683
IntelliJ doesn't stop at any GWT code break points. It indeed stops at any server side code break points.
I can confirm It is running in one JVM process.
B) When I debug this "GWT Configuration", I can not see another two buttons like "Launch Default Browser" and "Copy to Clipboard". I only see "Loading ...
