Drools support would be a definate asset.. maybe its a good idea for a plugin if thats up someones alley. Been trying to use Guvnor which is supposed to be their webapp gui for admin but I find it fairly buggy and cumbersome. Also it doesn't do all the things that the eclipse IDE plugin does.. like rules flows.... Been a long time intellij user but I'm forced to use eclipse for drools as its the only option at this point!
In the short run, some minimal syntax highlighting in the editor would be useful, with editing (though not necessarily admin) support being a nice plus - e.g. similar to the Spring bean editor.
Hello Claus,
So far it's not in the plan for IDEA 9. We haven't yet done any planning
for subsequent versions, so it's too early to say.

Any new developments on possible Drools support?
