How to use Spring tc Server 6.0.20C with IntelliJ 9?

I'm trying to get Spring tc Server setup with IntelliJ 9 Ultimate and I'm not having any luck.  It should be the same as Tomcat and I've tried pointing the Tomcat connector to it.  However, I've had no luck getting it to work in conjunction with the tc Server's "Spring Insight" app.

Does anyone know how to setup tc Server so that I can deploy/debug with it _and_ monitor the app via Spring Insight?

Thanks in advance.

I'm also interested in getting this working. I was able to target tc server and get my app running by pretending it's a vanilla tomcat instance following this - http://semerusummit.de/Blog/Entries/2010/4/28_Running_Spring_TC_Server_in_IntelliJ_IDEA_9.0.2.html

This is missing some integration with insight though which is the primary reason for trying this out.

I'd love to see explicit support for this in Intellij

cheers,

Any update on this? I'm trying to switch to IDEA from Springsource Tool Suite but I really want to be able to run Spring Insight. Is there any workaround?

Feel free to create a feature request about Spring tc Server support in our tracker (http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issues/IDEA). Did you try the
workaround from the previous comment?

I've added a feature request.

The workaround linked above only works to some degree. It enables deployment to TC Server by pretending it is tomcat but Spring Insight doesn't work which is the reason for deploying to TC Server in Development for me in the first place.
