javac error

not sure if this is a bug, but anyway here is the information:

I wanted to reformat a cvs merge file like .#MySource.java.1.32, so I opened it from IDEA and
associated file suffix .32 as java source file.

Then I cannot "make project" anymore, IDEA outputs
a javac error.

This means that javac cannot recognize such files. It requires ".java" extension.

yes, but the user migh not be instantly aware of this.
The sympton is: you cannot make project any more.
The cure is: remember that you did associate .32 as java source file and undo that.

-> maybe the association of other suffixes than .java
as java sources should be limited to the editor
-> exclude all other than .java from make project
and inform the user about this when he associates some
suffix as java source file.
This way you can read any extension like a java source,
can reformat it etc., and it won't block your project make.
