You can access these forums by NNTP by connecting to news.jetbrains.com. Is there also a way to make posts that you post via NNTP appear under your own username in these forums? Currently they just appear as "guest".

Hmm that's not something I've noticed before. I use Omea Reader to browse
and post via NNTP and the posts on the website still appear to be linked
to my account. I don't have any authentication set up on the NNTP connection
so maybe it links it by the email address?

Hmm, i just tested it, and it's exactly that way. Which is mighty
convenient however someone can easily impersonate me then by just
posting with my email address as sender. I am not sure if I like that...

I think you need to have the e-mail used in your NNTP posts match the e-mail
specified in your forums profile.
