Installing Java EE on Ubuntu

Hello!
First sorry for post wich is quite off-topic.

I have Ubuntu 9.10 installed. I want to install Java EE, I downloaded it from Sun (Oracle) site and try to install

./java_ee_sdk-5_08-jdk-6u18-linux.bin
Checking available disk space...
Checking Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment...
Extracting Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment files...
Extracting installation files...
[some cut-out content]
Deleting temporary files...

But this is end. Installator stops at this point and nothing is changing. I really want to try IntelliJ, but I can't withour JEE installed. In NetBeans it is in the box. 
Any suggestions, help?
