Imports like to collapse out of view. However, they have became far
too eager. It is impossible to add a line to the imports, typing it
manually. e.g. import static java.lang.System.out; It keeps
collapsing the imports after every few keystrokes.
I can add them, however, when it jitters at me that it does not
understand some symbol.
Further, this new version of IntelliJ often does not respond to a
keystroke for 5 seconds, even a ordinary keystroke like part of a
variable name. I have not been able to track down what is chewing up
all the CPU cycles.

Responsible Development is the style of development I aspire to now. It can be summarized by answering the question, How would I develop if it were my money? Im amazed how many theoretical arguments evaporate when faced with this question.
