I make pretty heavy use of macros for lots of simple things. In IntelliJ 8, the macros typically ran quite quickly, often faster than I could visually see what it was editing. In version 9, they run quite slow in comparison. I can watch it, for example, deleting/writing each character the macro changes. Typically just a little slower than if I held a key and watched it repeat.
Is there some code inspection or option on by default that would inhibit macro speed?
