Thread dumps and console
I'd like to have the dos console show in order to produce thread dumps if needed, I have changed the lax.stdxxx.redirect properties in idea.lax to "console", but it still doesn't popup at startup: is there some new way to do the same thing?

Sorry for the repost, I had the forum interface fixed on page 2 and was wondering why my post didn't appear... ;)
Please check that there are no spaces after the "console" word. Otherwise it won't work.

Ok, this was exactly the problem, thank you.
By the way you can start IDEA while holding down Ctrl and it shows the console, at least on Windows. When you don't want it, it's very annoying but it can help you :)
