Remote Debugging with JBoss in 2002 / 2008

For some reason remote debugging to JBoss no longer works in 2002 or 2008,
I can connect to the remote server fine, and when I disconnect I can kill
the process fine, but breakpoints don't fire.

A remote debugging session against Resin runs fine, so I'm guessing remote
debugging IS working...

Any one else seeing this?
