I love the idea of this product but I hope it doesn't prevent JetBrains from progressing for full improved J2EE development support within IDEA as I'm not sure I'll be able to convince my company to fork out money for another Java tool for J2EE when we already use IDEA.
Hi, Of course, from first day it appeared. But there are no details about Fabrique :( Sorry if it was bad joke(I miss AF day for technical reasons ;) ).
Interested even not estimate, but details of developed product for example: What skills in J2EE required to use it? What level of abstraction of underlayed technologies will be in VF? How tight projects managed by it will be coupled with VF? What happens if JB stop support this products and new version of underlayed APIs appear? Will custom libraries extendable? More...
PS: Officially you are not JB developer thats why such posts with estimates very interesting. :)
Unfortunately I don't have access to NNTP and cannot check this newsgroup. But I registered for notification of Fabrique EAP start and no notifications was here. Can you specify URL for download or to more detailed information storage?

(Just result of logical conclusion based on available info about this product comparing to Resharper and OmniMea.)

Yep; definitely not an Aprils Fool joke.... :)
Just wondered if JetBrains are ready to tell us a bit more about it?
Me too, but how can we attract their attention? Just raise a doubt of this product existence in joke form.
Visual Fabrique's EAP is available for some weeks now.
Tom

Hmm, I could swear, it was publicly available. Have you checked your
newsgroups or news.intellij.com?

Hi Tom,
Looks like you mean Resharper not Fabrique? Resharper EAP actually begins 2 month ago.
TIA,
Dmitry
Maybe you are right :)
Tom
We are right now making a build more stable to start the public EAP. You can
expect it to begin sin a week or two.
