Dumb question: how to add a facet to existing module (8.1)

I'm using IDEA 8.1.  I click File/Project Structure, choose Modules, right-click on my module, and ... the context menu only has New ... Module?  Similarly, if I click the + button when the module is selected, I get the "Add Module" dialog.

Do you have any exceptions in <idea.system.path>/log/idea.log?

BTW, on Mac OS X, idea.log is located in $HOME/Library/Caches/IntelliJIDEAxx/log/idea.log where xx is a version indicator.  '80' was used by 8.0, and '8x' is used by 8.1.

The only (superficially) related log entry is:

Please attach iml-file of your module.
Are you sure that plugins which provide facets are enabled (Settings -> Plugins)?

Argh, that was it.  Thanks, and sorry about the bother.  Because I am an IDEA newbie, I was fooled by lack of any mention of facets in that module addition menu.

I think it would be *much* better for newbies if that menu always had the "--- Facet ---" divider, and if there were no facet-supporting plugins enabled, then beneath that divider there would be another bit of inactive text saying "No plugins found", or something like that.

Consider that a feature request.

Using IntelliJ version 9 (community).  I would like to add a web facet to a module (or create a new module with a web facet).

The Plugin Configuration Wizard only has two steps (VCS and Other).  Seems to be no trace anywhere of web facets or any other facet.

After getting frustrated with the documentation referring to features that weren't there, I realized that even basic jsp support was not included in the community edition.

It might be helpful if the documentation indicated what features were not availiable in community edition.

Thanks.
