trackpoint scrolling does not work

Trackpoint scrolling (hold middle button and move trackpoint up/down) does not work for me in my thinkpad t61 on windows. I tried modifying tp4table.dat with "*,*,idea.exe,*,*,*,WheelStd,1,9" and restarted the laptop.
