IDEA 8, reenable prefernces in the cloud?
I rember when I first installed IDEA 8 it propted me to createe an online account to keep my prefernces in the cloud. At the time I decided against this. Now I want to do this. How do I make that dialog come back up?

There is an icon on the right side of the status bar that looks like a diamond with an arrow pointing left. Click on that and you will see the login options appear.

So the next question is how do I send my live templates and file templates to the cloud to share, and retrive from my other installs?
From what I have obversed using it, it appears that once you make any changes to your settings it is automatically uploaded to the server.
My live/file templates successfully come to new installs when I log into the server.
It looks to be working now. It unfortunatly wipped out all my templates here at work, and only loaded up the one from home : (
Since the release of IDEA 9, this feature has completely dissapeared for me. Has the feature just moved, or has it been removed from the application?

The IDEA Server plugin, which provides this functionality, is now downloadable
separately in the plugin manager.

Just a suggestion along the lines of this thread, but stuff like that which has been removed but the functionality can be retrieved by downloading a plugin...is that kind of stuff noted in the documentation for the IDE? Or is that kind of knowledge only something one can obtain by entering these forums?
