Editing .properties files is really slow in IDEA 9

Hello Ben,

Could you please file a YouTrack issue with a CPU snapshot attached? See
http://jetbrains.net/devnet/docs/DOC-192 for instructions.

Our project is rather large and in Idea 8 we had to disable the
inspection "Unused Property" or else editing of properties files is
unbearably slow.  In IDEA 9 even with this unchecked the same slowness
is encountered.  After typing a few characters into a property file
CPU goes to 100% (on one core) while freezing for a few seconds and
then finally allows you to type a few more characters before repeating
the infuriating cycle.

Any suggestions?
