Setting up libraries...

Is it possible to specifiy a directory in the libraries paths and have IDEA to include all jars in that folder? I do not think you can now, but that would be a really nice feature for IDEA. it treats a lib folder much the same way it would treat a src folder.

We are constantly rebuilding versions of libraries, and appending the date to the base name of the library for easy version identification. This makes for a tiresome manual process to set up the paths for libraries everytime we get a new daily build of our libraries.

this should be relatively easy to implement

I would actually like to see this taken a step further. It would be very
nice when creating a project to just point to a directory and IDEA would
find the list of jars for each referenced class in the project and include
that list. If there are multiple jars containing a particular class, there
could be a dialog with a list of possible values. For example, we have a
single directory in which we have many subdirs containing all our library
classes. It would make life much easier if, when setting up a project for
existing code, if I could just point to our library directory and have IDEA
dig down and find only the jars containing the dependencies in the project
source and test trees. By far, this takes up most of the time when setting
up a project.

There was talk of this recently in another thread as well, so if figured I'd just go ahead and make an official request for it ...
